Best Buy Ps3 recall?

I just went to Best Buy with a friend and he was about to buy a Ps3 with his best buy card. Anyway, they said they won't have any ps3'sfor three weeks because of sony doing a hard drive recall. Has anyone heard of this? I think he might have made it up.

I havent heard of that all. I think he made that up. If sony was doing a recall it would be all stores not just best buy.

i work at BB deff no recall, i did hear there was a shortage thats why stores had very little to no inventory but supplies should be getting up to speed now

So Ice there was no three week delay till a new shipment?

really depends where u live around my area is still pretty low but there are stores wth them in we had to go to another store in miami (im in orlando) to get some. There is a surprisingly high demand, I would call around too see before u start heading everywhere

The Walmart I work at hasn't had one on the shelf since two weeks before Xmas.

ya when my friend went to buy a ps3 i went with him and no one had a ps3... literally, we checked everywhere u could imagine and when we called walmart hq to do site to store pickup they said they were on backorder so the earliest we could get it was like 3 weeks. however a bb pretty far away from town had like three left so we snatched one up, and im pretty sure they wouldve said if it was recalled...
