Which game do you think is the best first person shooter out there ? In my opinion its tied down to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Killzone 2 but I don't know about that Operation Flashpoint game

Depends on what type of shooter your looking for really. If you want more run-n-gun, arcady, close range shooters go with cod/kz/r2. If you want a slower paced, more tactical, longer range game, with a HUGE map 225 km ! ( a real island off alaska ) Realistic bullet damage, no health regeneration, a squad command system, vehicles and helicopters then go for Operation Flashpoint. It's gonna be pretty hardcore compared to what's on consoles. But it's def not for everybody. But if you want a quick, pick up and play type a game thats not as complex, i'd go with a cod/kz/r2 type game.
im not one of those people still playing CSS for years and years, my opinion on FPS change as new games come out COD4 was awesome when i picked it up, good story, and the first time i really play online in a game (other then a mmo), but after i got prestige, i got bored Then i got Killzone 2, and with its awesome graphics, good cover system, class based online and how game modes changed on the fly (which force me to play something other then just TM, which is a great thing) i was just blown away. But maybe i have A.D.D when it comes to FPS games, (or that there are just soo many i wanna try) that i cant stick with one and cant call one the best of the best.

CS: Source is hurt squad anyways IMO ;), CS 1.6 is the greater CS game!!!
Anyways, I have probably had the most fun this gen playing COD 4.
well do you think resistance 2 is the best and when I said 'out there' I mean out in the gaming world CoD 4 may be the best shooter and I'm not saying there's no other shooters that can be compared to it ( I wonder if CoD4 2 has the makings to be the best fps ) Other Shooters I like : Resistance CoD 5 Battlefield 1943 Battlefield Left 4 Dead ........................
