I really dont know how KZ2 got so many votes, it looks like generic shooter # 33 to me, and the first game was mediocre at best. Anyway from these choices the game that looks best to me is Prototype but I voted for Halo.

Because it won't. God of War III - though it will certainly be awesome - will most likely be almost identical to the others. There's not much you can do with a button-masher like God of War.

Finally someone with some sense (no offense to the other posters they're all good posts). Since having read about this and having absolutely loved Indigo Prophecy last gen, I'd have to say that personally this is my #1 games anticipation for 09. As well, once Ubi announces Beyond Good & Evil 2 for the PS3 I have a hard time getting excited over the games on your list with the exception of KZ2.
Killzone 2 has a pretty good chance, i hope it delivers! but don't count out games like God of war III, Uncharted 2: Among thieves, and Final Fantasy XIII: Versus...
I voted for halo =D... But seriously im gonna go with Killzone 2 just because there are alreay some reviews for it and i love shooters... second opinion would be god of war 3 though
Man... I love RE and KZ franchises. To be honest though, the market is ruining the effects that KZ 2 will have, I think. Too many FPS's are out now. I played the RE5 demo with my bro on his Xbox. I'm really looking forward to it. So I'ma say Re5 will deffinently deliever.
