#1. GTA III - I lost so much sleep playing this game as if i lived off of pure adrenaline. It changed the way games were made with its open world style. Also it the only game that i legitimately had a reason to fear the cops and FBI.
#2. GTA Vice city - because it captured the time period perfectly and had a variety of characters.
#3. GTA SA - gave the gameplay elements more depth and expanded on what made the other two great games.
All three were fun. Sorry to say GTA IV very was boring. On a positive note it looked great! lol
Vice city!!! But the new GTA is going to be awesome!!! I only hope it will woth all the hours that I will spend locked in my room playing it and trying to platinum it!! xD
San Andreas absolutely no contest, Vice City was ok but SA kept me playin the longest with its story and characters and wealth of other stuff to do in the world.
I still play it to this day even though ive completed it, theres very few games that i can say that about.
I'm playing thru IV for the first time but it's not that great as San Andreas was, never played Vice City so idk about it, and III was just fine. The previous were crap though. So: SA > IV > III > II and I (without counting Vice City).
