best metal gear game?

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

I don't think I can decide between MGS1, MGS3, and MGS4. I mean they're all unique in their own sort of way. However I will say that in my mind, the most memorable one is definitely MGS3. The end was truly epic. I don't like using that word since it's used by everyone to describe anything and everything, but I believe MGS3 deserves that title.

For Gameplay, I would say MGS4. I would like a re-release with the other MGS games with that type of gameplay to be honest.

Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater, I had so much fun playing that game and enjoying killing the end he reminds of that druken guyfrom the vf series.

Metal Gear Solid 3, the Subsitance version to be specific. AC!D 2 was pretty awesome, it's a shame more people didn't play it...

Definitely MGS3. That game was just amazing with the story, setting, characters, camouflage index. Not to mention the ending was and still is one of the most emotionally powerful moments I've ever experienced in a video game.

For me, they're all PURELY awesome, but when i choose my favorite outta them.. i'd say MGS4, the gameplay was the best in the series, it answered too many questions and what the hell was going on in the game, the ending was so EPIC "i mean it xD".

even now, i have no problem going to MGS1 on the gamecube or PS and playing it. lol

i gotta go with MGS on the ps1, its the one that got me hooked on the series, was ground breaking for the time and the boss fights where the best.

MGS1 best of the best.

All of them are awesome:

MGS2 was my 1st MGS game. It's very good.

MGS3 has the best story and boss battles.

MGS4 has the best graphics, gameplay, weapons and features (like Octo-Camo).

(I haven't played MGS1 yet.)

My favorite is MGS4.
