With the upcoming release of mgs4 i'm very interested in getting a PS3. i'm wondering where the best place to get the best deal on one? Is it better to wait or get one now? Also I don't feel like spending 500 on the 80 gb so it'll be the 60 or 40, which one would you guys prefer? Also what other exclusives are coming out that are going to be worth buying this system for? I already have all the multi and 360 exclusive. After buying a PSP and being very disappointed with the games I'm already selling it. GOW was the only game I liked about it. sony has left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't want this system to be another PSP incident. Thanks!
Well it depends on if you want a 80gb ps3 with BC or just a 40gb ps3 without BC. The price differences are going to be relatively big for one reason. Walmart on June 1st through the 7th will be giving out $100 giftcards to anyone who purchases the 40gb PS3. So for 299 u can get a 40gb PS3. Then if u spend 60 bucks for MGs4 itll come to a total of 360 (ironic lol). there is also the option to open a Sony Style Card and get an additional 100 bucks off but i dont suggest it because credit cards mess up your credit but its your choice. A 80gb ps3 costs 499 so ull save around 140 bucks. Big difference so if u arnt getting a PS3 for Backwards compatability then id suggest u get the 40gb ps3. But memory fills up fast so u may end up buying a $70 laptop hard drive to put into the Ps3, not a bad price for 120gbs.
One thing the 40gb ps3 also doesnt come with is a dualshock 3. It comes with a regular six axis but at walmart i believe its 50 bucks for a new dualshock 3 if your interested (and ull end up with 2 controllers if u have friends over)
I reckon the MGS4 Bundle isnt up for pre-orders yet right? I've searched far and high for it but, nothing. I heard there were pre-orders up at circuitcity.com and gamecrazy.com but I was already too late. More like 2-3 weeks late. Is this true or pre-orders are not up yet?
wow i might do that deal to get it for 200. Can the gift card be used at time of purchase and is there instantly some credit on there that can be used at wal mart?
