Best PS3 Game Ever

hey guys im gonna buy my ps3 next monday but i dont know what game to buy im 19 years old and i love shooters and action and adventure games more than anything so would you help me?

Uncharted is better for rent since it has no multiplayer, if you've never played cod4 that should probably be your first stop. GTA4 is agreed to be good even though I don't like :?

Or you can put it off 'till Oct.-Nov. and get games like: LittleBigPlanet, Socom Confrontation, Endwar, Fallout 3 and Resistance 2 just to name a few. :D

All of the above are great suggestions. You really can't go wrong with any. But the first should be MGS4. Meanwhile, if you're bored, I have videos of all the games mentioned and more.

Uncharted: adventure/shooter

Resistance: exclusive and therefore great firsperson shooter with up to 40 online players and coop storymode.

GTA IV: Dont recommend it as a shooter really, all i do in the game is enter online with all my friends and mess around.

Oblivion: Isn't even a shooter at all

Killzone: exclusive, dunno anything else about it.

MGS 4: Great third person shooter, probably ends up as game of the year or decade or something.

COD4: Maybe the best first person shooter in the business, although i prefer playing it with a keyboard and a mouse on my PC.

yea MGS4 or COD4 those were my first 2 games dat i bought and i like em both. their awesome!

Go with Call of Duty 4, they have a Game of the Year Edition which includes a voucher for 3 free multiplayer maps :)

Best game - Metal Gear Solid 4

Best shooter - Call of Duty 4

Both are great games, and definitely must owns.

you can not go wrong with oblivion.

At 19 years old you should be able to decide for yourself. I dont mean to be a jerk but come on, you're 19 man. Scan through the internet sources and search for a game in your genre. Look at new releases and most popular games. Checking out game retail websites like gamestop.com even helps. If you're unsure about buying because you dont want to blow $60, then check out gamefly.com and look into renting games. It'll save you heaps of cash.

GTA IV - Best Game Out right now. Incredible gameplay with a very fleshed out storyline and some neat missions. Story is around 30-35 hours.

Call of Duty 4 - Best Online game period. Its a first person shooter and very intense one at that. Definately a must have.

MGS 4 - I dont recommend it. I played it at my friends house (4 hours in total) and only 1.5 hours out of that was actual gameplay. If you love watching a movie more and playing the game less, then go for it. I personally was turned off immediately by the 15-20 minute long cutscenes (cutscene with drebin anyone?) I dont know about you guys but that was the most pointless cutscene in the game.
