Best PS3 game to date

I can see where your coming from. MGS4 was an amazing game but the only thing for me was the game had no replay value. Once I beat it I had no intention on playing through again. I know probably like atleast 90% of PS3 owners think the same way as you do. Its all good.

Oblivion was great, then it got boring.

I still think Heavenly Sword is the best PS3 game to date.

MGS4 will remain my number one PS3 game for a long time. Maybe until Kojima releases his next masterpiece.

I agree. MGS4 is probably one of the greatest games ever. It does have somewhat of a replay value to it. Until you get the big boss medal that is. The online does keep it playable. So I say MGS4 and GTA4 at a close second.

My favorite PS3 game is still Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

I couldn't agree more.

From a personal standpoint, Resistance 2 is the best PS3 game so far. I don't personally go for shooters on consoles, but after playing it I went out and bought the first resistance, and will most likely pick up Killzone 2 once it's released. Great single player campaign, awesome multiplayer for replayability.

Cross platform titles shouldn't be considered IMO, they usually run much better on PC anyways. Oblivion and Fallout 3 are meant to be played with a mouse and keyboard regardless of how great they are.

I simply cannot say enough good things about this game. It's unfortunate alot of people will never expierence this masterpiece.

Same here. I've beaten it multiple times and each time it felt like I was playing it for the first time. I love MGS4 but for me it's Uncharted hands down.

Just youtubed it. Looks like a dynasty warrior style hack and slash with bad ai, and the addition of off-the-top brutality that doesn't quite match the newly relased Afro Samurai. Doesn't seem like we missed much.

Just because people spread rumors about the decline of PC gaming doesn't make it true. With games like World of Warcraft, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Team Fortress 2, and Left 4 Dead, it doesn't seem like PC's losing any steam (o I made a pun). Highly anticipated games like F.E.A.R. 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Diablo III, and Starcraft 2 are just around the corner also.

I would have gotten it if it was in English. I know a little japanese but not enough to get through the demo. I love the other ryu ga gotoku games(yakuza in the us).

Yeah I watched the combat gameplay and Dynasty Warriors popped into my head immediately (which I swore off after the 6th installment). You described it as a masterpiece so I was expecting to get blown away.
