Any like 'hidden gems'? I know there's like VC 2, or the FF series or couple other ones. But any like fairly cheap and fun ones out there?

It's not a terribly great game, but Suikoden for $2.99 might be worth a look.

For me, Final Fantasy IX. Though I enjoyed the romance of VIII.

Played Final Fantasy I? It plays exactly like that, as far as battles go. In the field, though, you can utilize "tools", which allow you to break crates, jump, dash in a straight line, etc, but mostly to solve puzzles.

Final Fantasy 9 is the best game ever, but if you're looking for a hidden gem then that is Wild Arms. Awesome game for just $5.99.

And for the folks who hadn't thought of it (which I was one, at one time):

Try searching the game on YouTube. When I was wondering about a few minis and PSOne Classics like "Wild Arms" someone suggested YouTube to me and it's so obvious I felt like a doofus. But you can search ANY title that's available on the PSN including minis and get a look at the graphics and gameplay for them before purchase.

When it comes to RPGs, you can rarely go wrong with the FF series, obviously... they cost a bit more, but like MGS and a few others they have aged like fine wine. "Wild Arms" can be fun... it was considered an inovative game for it's time.

In the european PSN, Wild Arms costs 18 euros (that's about 23 dollars) and Suikoden isn't even available. Isn't life wonderful? :(

Grandia is flawless in my opinion, a gem of a golden era of RPG's for me... But is a fairly known game so idk if it qualifies as a hidden gem...

Yet another one you cannot get in Europe (at least in Portugal where I am) despite what it says here http://www.examiner.com/video-game-news-in-national/release-window-set-for-grandia-europe

Sony really needs to get its ***king act together in Europe.
