GTA IV= not really perfect. It only got perfect because of hype

what you fail to see, & what you fail to say in that massive wall o' text, is that Kojima NEVER intended Ocelot to be some guy playing pretend, he only DECIDED to make him like that in MGS4. you act like Kojima had this planned since 01'. NO. he just decided to go that route with Ocelot for some closure, probably wasn't clever enough to give Liquid a fitting end. but hey, it's not my game, it's Kojimas. so i guess if he wants to make a lackluster finale to an amazing series, so be it. & you act like i HATE the game. :| & why the hell would Naomi lie about Dr. Clark being a man? :| try again. MGS4 was an absolute perfect ending to the story. So many things were set up perfectly that you can't even say they could have been random. Let's just assume that at the time, Kojima made a mistake and put Dr.Clark a man in his MGS1 script; that is the most petty and retarded thing to complain about. You have no real reason to hate on the game so you say "oh, he said Dr.Clark was a he, OBVIOUSLY the story wasn't planned, and I also ASSUME, that he never planned the Ocelot story..." Your argument FAILS. Come back when you can argue with valid facts and using proper grammar.

I loved MGS4 and I don't necessarily agree with your views on it...but if you didn't like it, then that's cool. That's your opinion. These are 2 completely different types of game, I see how most people are saying MGS4, but u realise this is probably because they are completely in love with it, don't get me wrong it is a brilliant game and is in my collection (I got MGS4 & GTA 4 with my PS3) but to compare these 2 games is just difficult but here's my opinion..

Graphics = MGS 4
Deffinently this game has the best graphics I have yet seen on the PS3, it's just .... beautiful.

Sound = MGS 4
You can hear everything and everything sounds great.

Story = MGS 4
To be honest I didn't really think the story to GTA IV was good at all, but the MGS4 story was superb and I haven't even played the previous MGS games.

Gameplay = GTA IV
This is because of the so many things you can do in a GTA game which we all must have experienced.

Value = GTA IV
Pretty much same reason as gameplay.

My overall preference = GTA IV
Once you've completed MGS 4 all there is to do is replay it on a different difficulty setting, but once you've completed GTA IV there's still so much you can do, which is fact but they are both brilliant games.
