Beware of the Demon's Souls bandwagon

My char is 130+ /w 50 hours played i have completed every PWhite and Pblack tendency event beneficial to my character.
A playthrough of 3-2 on normal (not counting maneater himself as hes a cheating beetch :P) really should not take any longer than 15 minutes.

Do take into consideration that the gargoyles do not chase you so all you are realisticly fighting are the worm things and black phantoms. If anything the swamp level takes longer because it removes your speed

im counting maneater of course, even if you are hell bent on speed running levels (if thats your thing cool, most people are speedrunners) I dont believe you can you can complete this level in pureblack in 15 mins

Wich i never claimed to have done.
Tough if i recall all of the black phantoms there are squids wich do not even have any attacks while anti magic zone is up (10 mp 40 seconds) to be adding 5 minutes to the run would be extremely generous.

Its not so much as speedrunning as simply ignoring all that has no value. being on my 4th run atm i have duplicates of pretty much every weapon and the monsters there offer so little XP i cant be bothered wasting time on them.

All the time i save on a level can be spend better on a good XP location. tough the last 2 playthroughs i hardly bothered leveling as it goes so fast and the next playthrough always gives more XP per kill so i'm delaying leveling as much as possible.

perhaps change that to "every level wont take you longer than 15 mins if the boss is already dead, shortcuts are opened and world tendency is neutral, skipping all mobs possible and sprinting the whole way"

I think your giving people the wrong idea about the game.

if the boss is already dead - The boss is in a "arena" seperated from the level, as proven by the exclusive smoke wall wich blocks off any option for backtracking
shortcuts are opened - No such thing, opening the shortcuts takes up more time than heading straight for the boss.
world tendency is neutral - PB is the only WT wich adds anything to the time spent when.
skipping all mobs possible - The only levels where this is faforable are 3-2 and 5-2. everywhere else its often saver to 2-3 shot all the mobs.
sprinting the whole way - There is no benefit to running over sprinting with the exception of anticipating ambushes where you need the stamina.
I think your giving people the wrong idea about the game. - Only when people are trying to read inbetween the lines with overactive imagination

You are making it sound as if someone has not finished a level before they killed every single mantaray and deliberatlyjumped down the rocks in 4-2 and killed all the slugs

lots of levels have multiple areas of fog (example behind the blue knight in 1-1) A level is from archstone to archstone.

No wonder it takes you 15 minutes if your only running to the first fog in a level.

There is no Arena, the bosses are in the levels, there have fog infront of them behind them for the single reason of protecting you from black phantoms attacking you on a boss fight.

You can backtrack if you have completed the level (killed the boss)
