Considering EA will probably end up owning 2k over a year before BS2 is released, there's a decent chance it will come out for the ps3 (hopefully they can put a little effort into the port). However, I don't seem them making a Bioshock port, unless they somehow want to make it and release both 1 and 2 together.

As for the people saying the game sucks and such, first off, I'm guessing none of you have played it, giving no reason why you don't like it. Second, why does the fanboy inside of people always have to jump out, considering this thread is not about whether or not you like the game. I'm a ps3 fan and don't own a 360 anymore, but I can still appreciate good games on any system. Besides, if you don't like it because it's a 360 game, get it for the computer, it's a superior version anyway if your computer is decent.

It's a great game with some minor problems imo, I'd like to see it on ps3 just cause I think everyone should at least give it a rent.

I can see it being ported one day MAYBE. Or PS3 getting the sequel without the first which is dumb, kinda like Gamecube getting The Twin Snakes and nothing else...But it's just as likely to get neither, so it's pointless to ponder atm.

I think this keeps coming back up because the sequel hasn't been announced to a specific platform yet? at least I think that's what I heard last. Haven't followed it closely.

maybe dey will make bioshock 2 for the ps3 as well but include da 1st game as dey have loads of extra space on da blu-ray disk....

Well PS3 only owners are in luck. Mass Effect 2 will be multiplatform. It wont be released right away on the PS3 and PC but it may experience a tiny delay. Since EA bought out Bioware, they're saying to hell with exclusives and on with multiplatform.

I really enjoy the Xbox 360 but it's really time PS3 gets it going and it will, lead by the launch of MGS4. I truly hope that this will be PS3's year.

That's a lame suggestion. It's on the pc too and you don't need a very good rig to run it too.

No, Ive been also hoping for this game to come to the PS3 but no. Same thing is happening with Ace Combat 6. I lost my hope and said, screw it.

Bioshock is definitely one of those games that makes me wish i had a 360. that and Gears of War. i heard Bioshock 2 actually might be multi-platform though? and whoa, what's this about Mass Effect 2 being on PS3 also? i never played the first, but i saw the reviews! if so, that's pretty freakin awsome news!danduron

What I hate about some games these days is that the first one comes and its exclusive to a specific platform. Later when the sequl comes out, its no longer exclusive. WHAT THE HELL!!! what about the first one?!
