Microsoft bought the rights, but those type of deals are usually temporary. I'm not saying I expect the first game to come to the ps3, but in about a year it could, maybe a few months before BS2 comes out. I do think there is a good chance for BS2 be released on the ps3.
Well, funny thing. The reason I asked whether or not it will be be ported was because I have a 360 and Bioshock, but It's too glitched-out to play (there's a freeze glitch which makes the game unbearable) and I was hoping they would port it to the PS3 so that I could play a debugged version of the game, as I am totally getting a PS3 at some point during the year.

The freeze glitch doesn't affect everyone. So, keep your fingers crossed when you pick it up. :P

Believe me. I will if I end up buying one before the legendary problem with the system is fixed for good.
I highly doubt that the first one will come to the ps3 for one major reason. The dev team is working on Bioshock 2. If a port was announced i want the original dev team to work with the ps3 version. I'm sure ps3 owners don't want a crappy port done by a different development team ala the orange box. PS3 owners are more likely to get Bioshock 2 but i highly and highly doubt Bioshock 1 will come to the ps3.

What I hate about some games these days is that the first one comes and its exclusive to a specific platform. Later when the sequl comes out, its no longer exclusive. WHAT THE HELL!!! what about the first one?!
haha seriously! i'm getting Condemned 2 but i'm kind of worried about whether i'll even know what's going on or not! like, if you haven't seen A New Hope, can you really enjoy The Empire Strikes Back? :-)
