I really doubt it will come out for the Wii since it can't run Unreal Engine 3. But it would obviously run fine on a PS3. I have played the game on my 360 and it is really awsome, so if this is true it would be good because that way more people will get to play this amazing game.lacrimosamo

I agree. The Wii is dreadful in the graphics department.

Why won't this subject die already?! I really could care less if it came to PS3... I already downl... got the game. Now I think It could come to wii people. Here is how:

1. Tone down the graphics to the lowest settings possible

2. Add fog

3. 480i only (480p may slow down the game too much)

4. 20fps minimum, maximum 24fps... who am I kidding, 15 fps minimum and 20fps maximum

5. Compress music and sound into wma format

6. Remove voices and put in subtitles instead

7. Fade in with the fog combination...

...

... Damn, wii's version is going to suck balls. Far Cry all over again for wii, thanks Nintendo.

My earlier post still stands for me, Ibelieve the wii could get Bioshock, no doubt about it if they do what I recommended. Still going to suck balls but at least it would go to another console besides microsoft platforms.

I'm sorry guys, but I gotta say it. BioShock would be a joke on the Wii. One of BioShock's greatest achievements is the way it looks and sounds and both would be severely toned down for the Wii. Nintendo has always preached 'gameplay over graphics' but BioShock's experience would not be complete without it's look and sound, thus I think a lot of the impact of the game would be lost.

The analogy 'gameplay over graphics' works fine on a game made exclusively for the Wii, but not for a state of the art 360/PC game to be ported down. I'm sorry, but BioShock on the Wii is a joke and it could never capture people the way it could on the 360/PC.

The world of Rapture just wouldn't be what we know it to be, and call me a graphics whore if you want to, but I would never sacrifice BioShock's graphics, sound and atmosphere so that I could wave my arms around in the air. Rapture is so stunning to look at and be in, and dropping BioShock on a system that is essentially a souped up Gamecube just blows. Oh well, if Wii owners want it, good for them.

In regards to a possible PS3 version, I thought Microsoft grabbed up the exclusive rights to BioShock recently? I know I read that somewhere just a few days ago, but maybe Microsoft only has timed exclusivity. I hope for PS3 owners' sake that it does come because it's an awesome game that everyone should be able to experience the way it was meant to be played.

actully they have stated again and again that its not comming to the ps3 anytime soon, but down the road it is possible. i really dont care because i allready beat it but whatever

I actually went to 2K's website and asked customer service if this game would come to the PS3. This is the response I received:

"Thanks for your feedback and I can assure you that it's very important to us.

At time of writing, there has been no press confirmation regarding a PS3 version of Bioshock. All I can advise at this time is to keep an eye on http://www.2kgames.com// or the gaming press for any future gaming releases.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused"

This, to me, seems that it will eventually be on the PS3, but probably not for a long time.

that analyst cannot be thinking straight. Bioshock on the Wii?? c/mon now... think about that.

not to mention that the logic for the reason of Bioshock going multiplatform is based on 2K wanting to make more money off of the success of the series. i mean... doesn't EVERY company want to do that? yet we see exclusives for consoles all the time.
