I don't know what the hate is all about but I think this is a decent PSP game and great expansion to the AC storyline. I enjoyed it from start to finish. I do admit, sometimes the controls get a little bit irritating but that's rare. I don't think this game deserves that 6 that most sites are giving it. I'll give this a low 7.5 or a high 8.0, but I'm leaning towards the 8 than the 7.5. It's a good game and those who are fans of the AC series, will like it too.
it was a big YAWN for me. Running around roof tops is fun but gets old pretty fast espercially when the city design is poor and jumping around is not as fluid. you could do most of the missions just running in the streets and going from point A to point B on the minimap with a bunch of soldiers chasing you without being penalized for not being stealthy. The combat is boring, the counter system is hit or miss, and timing does not always work. The camera as usual is buggy (not surprised since its a psp game ). not a lot to do and the city looks dead. The missions are all pretty much the same. Ya i am sure those people who loved AC1, are the ones who will love this one as well. Its not a stealth game, its not an action game, and its not a platformer game. What it is, is it tries to be everything mentioned in the last sentence and does nothing exceptionally good. oh ya shiny graphics and has assasins creed in its title. -- automatic- 9.5. its underrated and there is a good reason why it is underrated- because it is a dull game that introduces nothing new.
