Make sure that you've correctly followed the instructions that came with your particular headset. Regardless though, after you've paired it with your Playstation 3, under Accessory settings, make sure that you are "connected" and there is a blue dot next to your bluetooth device. Everytime I want to use my mic, I turn on the mics power button, then push the PS button once, and go to Accessory Settings -> Manage Bluetooth Devices, then hit triangle on my device, then hit connect. It should, and will work after that.

Some games have hotkeys, I'm not too sure for Killzone 2, as I've played it a lot online, I haven't used my mic for it. But I'm guessing the default setting, or only setting, is no hotkey, and you just speak, because I've seen a LOT of people who CONSTANTLY breathe into their mic, and not mute it. If you have the original Sony bluetooth headset (Which is the ONLY great headset) it has a Mute button. USE IT more often people. You cannot even imagine the amounts of breathing other people can hear, and you cannot.

no killzone does not have a hot key. it may not show ur name every time you talk but they can hear you. it wont show cause there will be to many poping up at one time. also do as he/ she said check the accessories settings to make sure it's selected as the devise to use.

To be honest i bought a bluetooth headset a while back and i did everything in the insturctions and made sure it was on and all that but it still doesnt seem to work....that or it lags out my game or....messes with my controller somehow....anyway i talked to a guy at gamestop and he said that bluetooth are basically useless most of them time and your better off with a corded mic that plugs into your usb port that way you dont have to worry about it dying and not working and etc.
