30 bucks is a tough call if you are talking blue tooth as most of them are atleast 40. But the cheapest of the cheap with decent quality I'd say are the Jabra BT125 or the Motorola H350. The jabra headset is a but mroe fragile than the motorola but it fits tight and isnt as heavy. The motorola is sturdier (but a little heavier) and you can charge it through the PS3 with the same cable you use for the controller.

Both give you about 8 hours battery life thoughconstant video game forbidden>

I'm sure you will I mean once you get one of these things you feel compeled to baby it. Though I started using the Jabra for my cellphone and it took on a bit more wear and tear because of it, the bendable ear hook started to wear out so I wanted to get another from Jabra, I didnt see anywhere to buy then so I emailed them asking how I could get a new one and they offered to send me some free of charge! Nice!

Jabra has a v135 that you can get for $30. Works pretty decently.

Do you mean BT135? yeah seems to be about the same as the 125 just with color mods.

Does he have to resync that one? because it isnt Bluetooth 2.0, supposedly those have to be resynced every time you start the system.
