From IGN and Gamespot it sounds like Brave Story is another JRPG that can't compete with other high quality RPGs let alone other high profile games outside it's genre. As with Jeanne D'Arc I've seen some nice reviews from both Gamespy and IGN. Although I am not sure what our own Gamespot thinks about it.
Setting aside the opinions of the critics. The hardcoreRPG fans here who are in love with the Japanese market like Brave Story. But I think that's going to change when Jeanne D'Arc comes out. And God does it need to change. I guess people have hard-defined taste in games. :roll:
I was quite surprised that jeanne d'arc is actually made by level-5,all their games are high quality titles. Any game made by them is destined to be owned by me.
brave story looks like a pretty traditional RPG while Jeanne D'Arc has a unique story and unique gameplay features. i will however eventually end up owning both games.
I already bought both of them and in my opinion... brave story is better since its more of an RPG like Final fantasy than jeanne d arc which is a front mission like game
when you say brave story is like final fantasy, do you say its turn based or more like ff12. and i never played front mission so guess it will be a new expereince for jeanne d arc for me

I agree Level 5 is really good there was only one game I didn't like by them and that ws Rouge Galaxy
such a hard choice for me. from what i heard, both are GREAT rpgs with great action.Zaef
Brave Story is great, Jeanne of arc looks good to, but i would give the edge to jeanne since, it's made by a well respected company, I love Brave Story, though.
I would have to say that it all depends on your personal taste. One is a normal JRPG while the other is a SRPG. I personally will be getting Jeanne d'Arc when it comes out and will be getting Brave Story later. Level-5 is one of my favorite developers so I know I will love Jeanne d'Arc.
Brave Story is a great Game IMO, and Jeanne Looks cool too, both are worth getting I have Brave Story and cant wait to pick up Jeanne D' Arc. Classic turn based Rpg in Brave Story and Tatical Rpg in Jeanne psp is really getting alot of great rpg's
I'm getting Jeanne D'Arc for sure but i do love Level 5 and I do love tactics type strategy games so its a no brainer for me. I guess it all depends on what game your in the mood for - do you wanna play a straight lace Japanese RPG or a Strategy Tactics type of game? Choose wisely....
