i dropped my psp on the floor, and like the screen cracked on the inside, so nothing is visible, only sound can be heard, and it will work, but i just cant see anything. I was wondering if there was any way to fix it, or do i need to shell out $170 for a new one?

right after dropping it.

little later.

It's done. Do you have a warranty? Or is it now void?

You can replace the screen yourself for like $50.. Its relatively easy, but it will void any chance of getting it fixed by sony. Not that thats a bad thing.

Remove the faceplate and that little strip with the home button on it. take out the lcd screen and put the new one in. Replace strip and faceplate.
It would be very easy to fix actually. Very simple for any modder.

Ebay is the easiest place to find one, but you can do a google search and try to find an online retailer that sells them.
