Brutal Legend, my most anticipated game, needs more love!

I can't emphasize this enough. Brutal Legend looks to be one of the most underrated games of the year.

To be fair, I didn't think of it much at first, it looked pretty dumb to me especially with the pictures of the main character Eddie. What can I say? he looked like an idiot. I was gonna make a total pass on it and thought of it as some sort of waste of time brawler like Untold Legend(Respectively in my opinion of course).

That was, until I saw that Tim Schafer was leading the project. That one fact threw me in a serious 180 degree turn.

And I can't emphasize this enough either,

I LOVED PSYCHONAUTS

A fantastic platformer with fantastic design in both gameplay and art style. The game's plot revolved around the minds of people so the settings and boss fights that were bound by one's imagination. (And so was Persona 4, hence I loved that game from the bottom of my heart. Stripper boss FTW) That game convinced me that Tim Schafer was a genius in the making. And now his latest project, Brutal Legend has me intoxicated. If you have a PS2, the original Xbox, or even a PC, try this game out!

Similar to Infamous, I thought that game was boring at first. I mean really? Lightning powers only? What a joke! That was, until I saw the trailers...

I can't wait for Sly 4 either!

Thanks it looks pretty cool.

Most of what they have shown is single player combat, and then some squad stuff (you get headbangers to follow you) Ive heard midway through the game youre controlling armys and it gets more strategy orientated, can anyone confirm or debunk this ?

The footage I've seen looks great though, pretty unique indeed

Im sorry but this game looks awful. The only good thing is Jack Black doing the voice over...

I saw a bit of a hands on for this when EA set up a gaming pod at a festival I went to. It seems pretty fun and enjoyable.

It's a Tim Schafer game, of course people don't pay attention to it even when it deserves it. To be fair, the first trailer made it look like a really mediocre God of War rip-off and unless you decide to do some digging yourself, EA hasn't done a very good job of showing how much more there is to the game (like the open-world design or the RTS gameplay)BenderUnit22
