WTF!? So after them telling us over and over, the trophies aren't retroactive?! But they said they would be retroactive, and that's why you're Burnout save is directly attached to your PSN ID.....

I AM FURIOUS. I got 100% in this game just for the trophies. Are the freeburn trophies at least retroactive at all?

How long do you think it'll take me to get a plat if I 100%ed this game and fully deserve a plat already? how much of my time are those bastards wasting?

We need to band together as a community to give criterion as much bad press as possible and never support thier future products. I hope we can make them pay for LYING TO US!

Well maybe you're fine with being lyed to directly but I'm not. To get the trophies I now need to do everything a second time. I would have waited till now if I knew it wasnt going to be retroactivwe but they kept on saying how they were going to be. that's unnacceptable it took me 50 hours to get 100%!

"Burnout Paradise saves are locked to your profile. We had hoped to use this to retroactively award trophies, but we discovered during testing that this is not possible. You will therefore require a fresh game-save to receive trophies in Burnout Paradise. If you're familiar with PS3 trophies already, you'll recognise that this works in the same way as all other games that have added trophy support post-release."

Why are trophies that important again? Yah they are cool to have but nothing to make a fuss over. So Criterion tried to make them retro-active but stated it wasn't possible to be tied with your PSN ID as the above poster stated.

They have put a lot into making this one of the best games to own and I believe did a great job.

This has annoyed me as i had nearly completed it when my PS3 died (lost the data). Then when i got a new one and heard about the Burnout trophies being retro-active, i decided to re-play it and get ready for them... nearly completed it.... now i'll have to delete it again for trophies... 3rd time lucky ay?

Guys, RELAX, Burnout is one of the best games out there and Ctrierion is always with FREE MASSIVE UPDATES! They are by far one of the BEST "user friendly" developers. They tried for retro-active, but failed. It's all good as they will be release even bigger FREE updates in the future, thats what really matters

Couldnt they have told us that the trophies aren't retroactive a LONG time ago, instead of the launch date?!

In reality, what you can do is back up your save, create a new one just to get all the trophies, then go back to your original save file.... not too bad guys.... most of us re-do online challenges all the time so whats the big deal...

Yeah exactly. Criterion went from one of the best game companies to a mediocre one (for lying :P).

Yes I know I'm not that mad about that. I'm mad at freaking Criterion lying to us.
