:) so, im getting the 40 gig. what games should i get!?im thinking Warhawk w/ mic, and skate. then a little over a week later, i'll get more money to buy more games. but those should hold me off right? actually, what i need to know is this: how is warhawk online right now. I hear all these stories of lag, disconnects, and crappy mic sound. is that all true or what? and is skate really that much worse than the 360 vresion? i played it at my friends house on the 360 and i fell in love with it cuz i used to skate back in the day. its so realistic.
Yea warhawk will hold you off for a good week or 2.. Its a great game, theres no lag, great online play. I would also consider COD4 down the road if ur into fps, Ratchet Clank Haze and assassins creed.
WARHAWK, Resistance: Fall of Man, NBA 2K8, C.o.D. 4, Heavenly Sword, R&C,and I guess skate. I can't really answer the last question, but I wouldn't expect a fair answer since it's being asked on a PS3 board.
oh yeah, the reason im not getting resistence is cuz im afraid the community will die after cod4 or haze comes out...but do you its still worth it? i dont wanna spend 60 bucks on a game whos community will be dead in a few weeks.
Well, the things wrong with Warhawk should be fixed with Patch 1.1 due to arrive soon.
As far as games go, I'd suggest setting up your PSN account as soon as you get your PS3 and trying out demos. Because most of the games I would suggest have a demo upexcept Oblivion I think. I would also keep my eyes out for reviews like Assassin Creed, Call of Duty 4 and Uncharted.

Well wait until these games are released and you can ask if the community is dead and if it is, don't buy it. Buy the game that has the most lively community then. But if it isn't dead, grab a copy and have fun.

dude u should buy resistance as well, communities never die, I still sometimes play GRAW 2 online and there is a lot of ppl playing, soI suggestto buy ressistance as well cuz is a great game, and online gaming is great, of course also buy games like Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Jericho ( i dont care what gamespot says, this game is super cool) and all the upcoming game like COD4, assasin creeed, etc.
Congrats on your future purchase! Welcome to the future of gaming. I recommend you getting Warhawk, I never had lag playing the game, and its fun as hell. You should download the Skate Demo and see if you like it for the PS3. I found pulling off the manuals and other tricks were easier on the PS3 controller, but thats IMO.
I'm pretty sure the only difference in the two skate versions is the 360 has better graphics, I don't think the gameplay is affected. And Resistance has an awesome single player, so even if the community diesm you still have the good single player.
Welcome to the family dude :) Assassin's Creed comes out this month as well, don't forget that! If you like these kind of games, Rainbow 6 is fun, plus it's a good multiplayer game imo.
