call of duty 4 LAN gaming help

can you have split screen in a LAN game in cod 4? because i want to have a lan party, i have acess to an extra ps3 and another copy of cod4 (my friend's). so can i have 8 people in one game from 2 ps3s?

no one helped me in my other post so im stuck.

ps anyone else addicted to cod 4? i want to play my other games but its so fun online! 

You can't play split screen in a lan party...you can only play one person in each ps3 in lan party....splitscreen only in the same ps3...sorry my bad english but i hope that you can understand...

Me and my friends ran into the same problem right after the game came out, and he told me it was possible before I ever played it. He ended up renting a second copy and was out the money because its not possible. I suppose they could release a patch in the future, but who knows when/and if.TheCheat23k

It would be really great if ithey release a patch to make it possible..
