They already made 2 bad games. Plus I dont think this COD has a campaign. It has Missions like Unit 13.

Exactly what a waste...No Spec Ops and No Zombies, Those Game Types have been the most fun I have ever got out of Call Of Duty, if the missions were Spec Op like missions I wouldhave been glad but clearly their just handing it down to a half ass developer and letting them make a husk of a Ip and Slapping Call Of Duty on it hoping it will sell...

Yes I am very disappointed. Couldn't wait for Resistance and got burned on that. Now this. I will wait for reviews but I dont have high hopes. A few other Vita games should deliver though.

Zombies is "confirmed" on the playstation blog. As for spec ops I dont think that will happen. My two cents about this is that I think that the gameplay will be true to the console CoD but Ninhilitics engine is horrible. I think that if they can just get a different engine that we wouldnt be as hateful toward the graphics. Fortunately this is so early in the Vita's lifecycle that the graphics and only get better over time.

They made Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects - I thought that was one of the better two player fighting games on the PS2.
I'm not about to write them off just yet.
I think someone said it's coming out this year yet? If that's the case, hopefully what they showed at Gamescom was old footage or they've made a lot of progress on the game since then, since a lot of people seem to be unhappy with what they saw.
i just found it has zombies "I love call of duty zombie mode" I wish Sony would have gave this game to a more talented developer but we'll see what happens. The trailer at gamescom was dissapointing

Dam nice sig, really hyped for TearAway it looks mad.
Sigh... handhelds always get the short end of the stick when it comes to a console experience on the portable.
Wow really? Geez no wonder why it looked like garbage.
We need mre games like Gravity Rush, not these brown generic shooters (on a handheld no less).
Which has almost always been the case. The Vita will fail unless Sony and other developers can make unique IP's that are made specifically for the Vita and that take advantage of what the Vita has to offer.Sigh... handhelds always get the short end of the stick when it comes to a console experience on the portable.

It is not even that, it is how pathetic Sony has handled the IP, rather then giving it to a good Developer they give it to a second rate developer that didn't even do well with the last FPS IP. I might have bought the title if it was on par or near to its console brothers with features like Zombies or Spec Ops but nope Sony didn't suprise me at all, knew they would find a way to screw it up.
how the hell did anywhone think this was a good idea.... i din't even finisch resistance for vita how ever hard i try... just bad just a 2k/2k3 shooter with resistance badies.. and from the trailer cod looks just as bad.. on the other hand, Killzone looks awesome but then again its developed in house and thay make prety games... say what you whant about guerrillagames but there always up there... but how ever mutch i like killzone... i'd like to see them experiment on new IP's
like naughtydog.. would be a shame if the studio got stale. cause with the tallent they'f got now... they could bomb the fps world.. i just think that killzone is'nt the wright property to to it with

Since when is COD Sony's IP? :>
Sorry Im just saying the way they handled THEIR IPs and OTHERS is pretty average, didnt mean to say COD was their IP. Doesn't seem like Activision was very interested in making it so they just said Yes to Sony to do whatever they want with it.
Well is playing 4v4 really that much worse than 8v8?I can deal with the sub-par graphics but that 8 man online cap is just frustrating.I wont be buying a fps for the vita until it has atleast 16 player mp.40 bucks to play 4v4 is just wrong.

wow, what game does 128v128? oo;[QUOTE="xconbud"]Well is playing 4v4 really that much worse than 8v8? Even if the Vita is in early development I personally think yeah it is alittle pathetic, considering how average the game looks I'm surprised it doesn't have 8 vs 8 or some sort of redeeming quality. I bet Killzone will have 10x the quality and most likely feature more players in Multiplayer.I can deal with the sub-par graphics but that 8 man online cap is just frustrating.I wont be buying a fps for the vita until it has atleast 16 player mp.40 bucks to play 4v4 is just wrong.

I'll be cautious with this one. My biggest problem with Burning Skies was how dull the game/world felt. It had no life or personality, all you really did was run and shoot. The controls weren't so bad the game just felt too bland and soulless to me.Kaze_no_MiraiRbs story was kind of weak but I like the multiplayer and the controls felt like any normal shooter

Yeah the 4v4 is diappointing. 6v6 would have been great. Here's hoping for a Ground War playlist for more players.

Have you tried the 1v1 and 2v2 maps on Modern Warfare 3? I found them pretty damn fun. I imagine if the game plays well, 4v4 will be just fine.
My interest on COD game on vita was 0 even before knowing who was the developer, and now it's less than 0. Besides, there lot of great games coming out for vita like: Persona 4 Golden Ragnarok Odyssey Soul Sacrifice Assassin's Creed III: Liberation Seriously who cares about COD!!! That games is crap on all platform.danjin44
Who cares ? alot of people, CoD is still fun for alot of people and it is good value for money, Hell I would have loved Zombies and Spec Ops *On The Go* with my Vita, And you should too. Even if you don't like it you should care, why ? Because CoD could have sold ALOT of hardware if the game was actually going to be amazing.
I am not trying to say you won't enjoy your Vita but think about how much of a missed opportunity this was for Sony, this could have really helped sell Vita's, and the Vita is in a Dire Situation if it doesn't sell. Hell Sony has a awesome lineup of games for this year and next..But then what ? if the Vita doesn't sell it won't get more support. That may be alittle *Grim* I am not Doom and Glooming but this could really have helped sony ALOT, but Sony being Sony they are screwing it up.

What should I care about game dosent make effort to improve. They even make effort to choose better developer to make this game, and I bet u anything that they using the same crappy engine as Resistance: Burning Skies. My argument was that at least you should CARE how a game like CoD is being handled/ That is great that you have a Vita for those games, same as me. But like I said The Vita is not selling well at all and a game like CoD could have helped alot, more sales means more suppoort.
I bet you people that say *Who cares Im happy with the games I have Now* will be the first people to complain that they want more games in the future when the Vita is no longer being supported. Not saying YOU should personally care but really those who have Vita's should voice their opinion and tell Sony we will not accept this, give it to another developer and delay the game. Releasing something as bad as what was represented in the Trailer is just going to hurt the CoD name and the Vita's.
Vita is going to be my most Played system in the upcoming Months and next year but I can still show my concern when it is needed, I am not a blind fanboy and will not accept crap from Sony.

New IPs can be tough to sell at times so it might be better to establish a stronger userbase.
I'm going to go against the grain here and say that this looks decent enough. Playstation Blog is the only publication I know of so far that's had an actual hands-on demo, and they've said that the game has a good Call of Duty feel:
"Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassifiedis real, and weve played it. I think the highest compliment I can pay it is to say that, well, it looks and plays like Call of Duty. The running and gunning, the aiming down the sights, the familiarBank Gothicnotices popping up when you land a long-range shot or end an opponents killstreak, the weapon loadouts and multiplayer modes theyre all here, rendered onPS Vitas luscious OLED screen and playable with dual analog sticks in a mobile setting for the first time."
Sure, they work for Playstation, but I see some positive here. It's still got a lot of what people love about Call of Duty, even if it isn't running at 60FPS, and the graphics aren't as bad as some people make them out to be("these are PSP graphics!").
Worth a read if you want a positive point of view, for once.
I just think what is the redeeming quality of this game? It looks horrible while having a 30 FPS ? It has the same controls as Resistance, multiplayer is small with maps being reused, and so on. I just think right now the game has nothing going for it, it has no redeeming quality and the game is supposed to be released in less then 3 months? Not trying to be negative here but the game just looks horrible, I have seen IOS games with better value and graphics, it honestly looks like a game for IOS, and their expecting us to shell out $50 for this game ? Nope Sony can get stuffed.I'm going to go against the grain here and say that this looks decent enough. After watching footage of AC: Liberation, there's no reason why the graphics for COD on the Vita should be this bad, they're PSP quality. Hopefully it'll be a fun game when it comes out.flowersjf
Or even Unit 13 which is a shooter with excellent third person graphics.

Exactly, but I know graphics aren't everything. So as long as the gameplay is good, then I'll be fine with it.Please Log In to post.
