I mean since alot of gamers think alike, can you imagine how popular a game would be if it;s ideas came from a panel of say 8 or 10 hardcore gamers? the game would be amazing, it would have something for every gamer! A game company should hold a contest for this or somethingNasty_butler_9
No .. not every gamer will be satisfied with any game .. no matter who makes it .. to many whiners out there ..
when game testers check for bugs and whatnot, it would be sweet if they checked for crappiness and the devs listened.
While you're saying that, think about this: Most developers(Individuals, not the companies) consider themselves to be hardcore gamers too, if you're seen interviews.
They make the games including features that they think are great, and assume that other gamers will like it as well.
Take Haze, for example. The guy who was always in the interviews...the eccentric one, I can't remember his name. He thought Haze was an amazing game, and continued stating features that he thought were unique, and the same features were stated as being the cons of the game in many reviews. He liked it so much that he even said 'You'll love this game, on my mother's honour'(I've got a pretty good memory). Well, then, if he thought it was so great, what happened during the reviews?
In conclusion, no matter how many gamers you have working on a game, it doesn't guarantee that the game will turn out good.
