Can you play the PS3 on a PC Monitor???

I just bought a Viewsonic 22 HD LCD Screen for my computer, and I was wondering if you can play the PS3 on this screen or any pc monitors? IS there a cable you can buy? The monitor says it is HD compatible. I am just not educated that well in this area. below is a link to the monitor I bought.

You can play the PS3 on that monitor, you will need an HDMI to DVI cable. Hook it up and you should get video, audio on the other hand well you will need a separate source to get audio.
