Can you still recieve updates if you cant log in to PSN?

The latest system update cause my PS3 to be unable to log on to PSN. Im hoping the new update will fix this.

Since April 1 you can't log into PSN until you update. Your internet still works and you can still download the update on your PS3.

They use seperate servers for th PSN and a firmware update. As long as your PS3 is online you can update it.nightshade869

The next update isnt out yet. Im just worried that i'll be stuck with my current update and cant log on to PSN forever.

You can get a game that came out after the update and it will update when you start the game
