Are you going to get this game and would you suggest it? I tried the demo and it seems pretty slow paced and i haven't played any other Civ games.

I was very excited about this game; then heard about the 3-4 hours play time. I need to hear more about replayability or this may be rental material.

Cripes, people said GTA was "short"

I played the demo and liked it but I don't think I'd drop $65 on the game right now. I'll wait till it drops.

I'm not sure if it was the demo but I found upgrading military too hard, it seems like the only way to win was to do it through Wonders or Gold. Invading another capital is a pain.

Well I think it awesome I don't have a B.A. computer so a game like this reminds me of old school starcraft/warcraft. Watch the videos of it unless you have the DL actually watch it anyways, because the head programmer (I think) talks about how like every week or so they have a new custom game to play either online or off like the old turn based strategy games had. I guess europe has had this game for a lil while now and most of them like it. But from what I could gather they don't like online play cause most of the people they play take a long time with there turns which can make a 1-2 hour game turn into a 3-4 hour long WTF fest. If your a fan of FPS's or sports games don't mess with this game. It takes strategy which is why it's under the strategy genre which means it takes time to complete. As far as replay goes it should be excellent because each faction has there own unique abilities, and I guess the different difficulties makes it really replayable. In conclusion if you like the demo then go out and RENT IT!!! If you like the full game then after that go out and BUY IT!!! ****t people this is the first of the turn based games to come out for the new systems, so don't be to harsh on it.
