Half Life 2 ain't exactly the most graphically intense game. It came out like 3 years ago, right? Even a half ass port that just uses the PPE and GPU should still be able to run all the effects, including HDR. Barring intentional **** ups "encouraged" by Mr. Moore, it should look and play fine. Just take it as it is, a port of what apparently was a very very good game (game of the year in fact.) Just try not to compare it to the other versions.
