Here are my thoughts
1) No, MW2 was a lot smoother online, as well as having shorter menu load times, MW2 was straight to point - Black Ops has 3-5 load times before getting into an online game
2) Yes i have had a lot of lag online, but its a bit of a gamble, sometimes its very smooth but at others its really annoying
3) To define "fun" is a little strange when it comes to COD, but you can put it this way, Black Ops does not have as many annoying features as MW2 did but at the same time it does not have that polished feel to it that MW2 did have...at its core i suppose its still call of duty, but i think this game is a real love it or hate type of cod, i'd rent before buying if i were you
4) I have a HD TV and it seems ok, it does run on HD but the visuals are really nothing special, i think MW2 looked better tbh
5) The maps are "ok" theres small and similiar variety between them imo, and yes i find it really uncomfortable using a sniper, it just bounces around a lot and theres no real incentive or satisfaction when getting sniper kills or normal gun kills in my opinion
Just to add, i would recommend you rent before buying this game so you can see how it before you spend cash on it, also the zombies mode has only 2 maps!! which f*king sucks, but i think the zombies kinda sucks overall to be honest, sometimes when you fire a bullet at a zombie it wont register and when it does theres no real satisfaction when acquiring a kill trust me, it's not my internet connection either as i play BC2 and B1943 online a lot and i get no lag at all with those games
