COD:WAW outsells R2 over 2:1 in first week.

I just looked at last weeks game sales and I saw that COD:WAW sold over 800k in its first week. Resistance 2 in over 2 weeks has yet to even sell 400k. This is isn't very good for resistance fans as it appears that COD has become the premiere FPS on the PS3 and it isn't very likely R2 will catch up to COD anytime soon. I really saw this coming with all the sucess COD 4 had, I remember when that came out it took away most people from Fall of man. It is really too bad because Resistance 2 really has all the potential of being the PS3's most popular game but it looks like that might not ever happen...

I dont want to admit it but... im sort of dissapointed in R2, the mere fact that they took out the 2 player co-op story mode replacing with a mediocre online co-op fails for me

well COD:WaW is a much better game than R2, so its pretty just.

R2 is really only loved (apparently only in gaming forums) because its an exclusive. Most gamers dont give a crap whether a game is exclusive or not, just what game they'll enjoy more.

The reason is R2 is exclusive, WaW is multi plat and R2 doesn't come out until the 28th for the rest of the world.

I think you're in the minority. Campaign co-op from R:FoM is still fun to this day, but R2 is a huge leap. I can't wait to see how they expand the concept in the long-term.

Their Both North American Sales, which is fair enough. But Honestly COD5 vs R2, COD4 was just remarkable so people are gonna buy it no matter what. R2 has done a good job so far.rahul_batta
