I don't like this. One of these links to the other.

A lot of features mentioned are already available, like entering CD information, three speed forward and reverse, and zooming on videos.

...Wow. If this is true, however, they left in a lot of things that are already available. It's hard to believe this is real, in my opinion.

an RSS feed is like a bookmark that opens a list of the latest information on the site.

for example, a Gamespot RSS feed gives you a list of the 10 latest articles that were posted on the site.

Yeah. I agree. The lack of it is the single biggest reason I buy all multiplatformtitles for 360 instead.

I love how they add words to it to make it sound better and toss the 2.0 Rumor List on there.

All the quote says is that firmware is coming next week, doesn't say anything about it being special or big...the writers say that. lol

well according to the site, it says that the PR said the firmware next week will be something special.

Im not going to get excited because for all we know it can just be v1.83 or something like that :P . Once the update hits and we see what we get, and if we get some good features then i will get excited.

well i think he will confirm whats on the update before it even comes out... it's on the PS3 blog according to PSU, but I can't find it anywhere

but none of those features listed have been confirmed. ALL ARE RUMORS!! It is going to be funny next week when people start bashing Sony for not including everything that is in those rumor lists.

there was no PR...they're source was the psblog even though they neglect to mention that...because thats where the quote was from. Someone linked it above me so i'm not going to again.

Basically someone asked about firmware and he said "Early next week, we'll have something on the firmware." That's it. That could mean that they'll announce firmware or it could mean a big firmware update or it could just add one small thing.

My point here is that the article is hyping this way past what was actually said.
