controller related ps3 question

Hi, just have a couple of controller related questiosn for ps3 before i get one.

Does anyone know what's the max amount of controllers that the ps3 can support simultaneously? Are there any games that support more than 2 controllers that are out right now or are coming out soon?

Warhawk uses 4 controllers for 4p split screen

any other games? does anyone know if nhl 08 or 2k8 support it this year for ps3?

Just to clarify, the PS3 can only have 7 bluetooth devices connected at once, this includes BD Remote and Headsets.

So if you have 2 controllers and a BD Remote and a Headset then you have 4 devices connected out of a possible 7.

Theres something else I'm curious about for controllers... Isn't 4 controllers the limit for the PS3? Look at the top of the controller itself,next to the USB port. It has only 4 numbers, so how would the other three be registered?ImtiazR

Two of them light up for more controllers Player 5 lights 4+1 and so on
