Why Splinter Cell Conviction is a 360 exclusive? I'm more of a metal gear guy, but what happened to make the new SC not be on Ps3?

I do so believe it is the $$$ good ole' Microsoft likes to spend. They're an amazing company. If I knew half of my exclusives never sold as I wished, I'd have stopped in the first year.

I think Ubisoft were making Wii games for awhile there, but now they are going back to 360/ps3.

As for the exclusivity, its probably to do with M$ money/contract dealio's, splinter cell games have always been selling slightly better on Xbox anyway.

I wouldn't worry. The Lost & Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony were MS 'exclusives' too. Give it time.

And it's always good to share too. Surely you'll pay for everyone else to have both consoles so we too can say it's good. =) /Heh

I think I read somewhere that Ubisoft said that the Splinter Cell series and Xbox kind of go together, so it was a natural fit. I don't know though. It might come to the ps3 later on, who knows. Eternal Sonata, Bioshock 1, Tales of Vesperia (***) Lost Planet 1 the GTA 4 DLC, Ninja Gaiden 2 and Star Ocean were all "exclusive" at one point but look what happened?
