[QUOTE="BenderUnit22"][QUOTE="Fightingfan"] the dreamcast actually sold well. Its doing better then what the ps3 did in 2 years. Check it out..Fightingfan
Not true if those 10.6 million are to be believed.

True, Just from what the sources say. The DreamCast was out selling Nintendo but it died as soon as the Juggernaunt know as the Ps2 came out.

At the end of Sony's 2nd fiscal year (1.5 years of sales for the PS3, 1 year in PAL territories), PS3 sales numbers were over 12 million, more than the Dreamcast sold in its lifetime and certainly more than in 2 years.

Sony has been taking alot of losses with PS3, and the games sell but not as well as i think they should, and with all the money they are loosing out on PS3 and PSPgo failing.do you think sony could end up like sega?

No... for a ton of reasons, but to list a few

Sony is simply too big for it to pull a Sega

They don't lose money on the PSP Go at all, and it was primarily a test and a nudge for the market

The PS3 isn't as big of a failure as everyone seems to think. The fact that it's about to surpass the 360 in sales even though it came out a year later, and half of the 360s numbers are from the people on their 5th console says a lot. They've been losing a minimal amount on it that's immediately recouped with even a single accessory purchase.

It's Sony.

Well, Sony doesn't only make games. Just like Microsoft(their gaming division is running in red just like Sony) is able to stay afloat. Sony is pretty much in the same position. There really is no chance of them failing really.

ok dude....sega wa a game maker/publisher etc.....sony is a mega conglomorate. tvs, radios movies music etc. sega screwed up mainly because they had failure after failure. sega cd, flop, saturn flop and least in the us it was fine in japan nintendo was in 3rd place over there. neptune never finished nomad, game gear cdx and sadly the dreamcast. yeah sony started out bad with the ps3 but they have damn near broken even with it, faster than the 360 and microsoft. sony is not going anywere. they have close to 400 million sales with the playstation family alone, sega didnt do that.
