Only if you're annoying the players you are against with online by verbally abusing them and telling them you have teh awesome controller every time you kill them.

Well, to just address it technically, you'd be using an external source with which to modify the performance of the game to your advantage in an online match. Sounds ban worthy to me.

I was thinking about buying either a rapid fire controller or buying a DS3 rapid fire mod kit, and maybe using it online once in a while (not extensively)... Could I get banned from the Playstation Network from using it online (for example, MW2)? Keep in mind, you can not change my mind from getting the controller/mod. lol no you don't get banned from using a diffrent type of controler for free online play. This isn't WoW or Xbox live where people are paying for fair play. No one cares what conreoler you use.
