I haven't bought a psp game in a long time and I was thinking about crisis core or chains of olympus.... I was wondering if they are both good spinoffs (obviously of good games)...and if chains of olympus is painfully short? Any opinions are appreciated, thanks in advance.

okay take my advice and get crisis core, i just picked up my pre-order this morning and have been playing non-stop, it is such a good game with tons of gameplay that will take a long time, i got God of War a couple weeks ago and it is also a lot of fun but is short-lived, i have spent 9 hrs playing through every mode (except god) and challege of hades. i have 4 hrs on CC already and i have barely scratched the surface.

I purchased God of War and will purchase final fantasy crisis core when it comes out tomorrow.

My answer BOTH as God of war is just as epic on the psp as it is on the ps2 and is a really great buy and final fantasy crisis core looks fantastic if not telling a good yarn to the story of Zack from FF7 (Square has a tendancy to make addictive storylines).

Plus with each game being instant classics you will enjoy these titles far more then you would think you ever could should you be into the genre of each title.

Personally I spent $19.99 on Patapon and have not looked back yet.

If you are a big fan of GoW games, get GoW:CoO because it plays very much like the PS2 versions of the game and it has that wow factor for the PSP. FF:CC is pretty good too but I haven't played it much. The opening CGI is awesome.

I just got God of War on Saturday, finished it today, and I'm picking up Crisis Core tomorrow when I get out of class. Its nice to have a few new good PSP games to get. If you have the dough I'd say get both. If only one, I'm betting on Crisis Core just because as an RPG it obviously has alot of play time, where as God of War takes 5 hours for the first run through but then again GoW is always worth another play through or two.

God of war is only a 5 hour game or so. I would go for crisis core, it's averaged a 15-20 hour game.

Crisis Core. GoW is some fun. but then you get those quick time sequences which suck.

plus.. FF7 is the best game known to man.. and probably aliens too.

haha thanks for the advice... I am a fan of the GoW series, of course, but I always regret buying them a few weeks after I beat them...because they are so short... and I would get both, and have more than enough money too...its just I'd rather not, because whats the use of getting a game I beat in one day?....
