Cross Game Chat?

So I see that a lot of people are whining about not having cross game chat and how drastically they need it :roll:

I dont really care for it, and I dont think I'll ever use it if we had it. If cross game chat means that we have to start paying a monthly fee for PSN, then screw, its not worth it one bit. Some people just want everything and they still want it all for free. We get the essential and most important things from the PSN, online gaming, messaging, text chat, voice chat, video chat, cross game text chat, PSN store. People need to be thankful for what we have, and stop being greedy.

PS: I dont want anybody saying "hey how dare you call me greedy and whiny and...", no, I'm not generalizing, this was for the people I described above.

I'm really not that concerned with cross game chat, but I would like talk-to-text for sending messages. I just don't like texting a giant message. Voice messaging would be cool as well, but at least talk text.

I can see why you don't think you need it, it's probably because you have never had the option for it. So your just use to not having it. for me I have both XBL and PSN and let me tell you cross game chat is awesome! I use it all the time, and when i'm on PSN I miss it, it's just so much harder to set up games on PSN with buddies without it. On XBL you invite everyone to party chat and ask which game they all want to play and go play it. Or you can just chat with buddies while you play some SP games which I also like to do.

i dont even use what we have now...i use PSN to get on multiplayer online games and smack noobs and laugh

I'm sure I'd have fun with cross-game chat if they eventually introduced it, but I don't really care about it either way right now.

Where the hell are you getting your Facts???..My Xmb loads really fast even when I am playing games.

Easest way would let us download something like teamspeak and vent from the PSN for cross chat.

well my idea is still the best,take some duct tape then tape the phone to your headset,volia

trust me cross gameing chat ruins x box live.

theres no communication with anyone and ultimatly no coordinated strategy in matches. and the ones where you get to coordinate a strategy are the best types of online matches.

keep it the way it is. or at least just dont allow party chat for online matches. it would be nice to play games while talking to freinds

That is one thing that doesn't bother me one way or the other I don't care to do alot of talking when I'm gaming and don't care to here a bunch of screaming and swearing
