Ok so last week I asked my dad if he could bring me to Best Buy to get a ps3. He said 'Okay'. He drove me to Best Buy, and I picked up a ps3 from the shelf and brought it over to the counter to purchase it with my hard earned money i saved up from the past year. Right when I'm about to load it on the counter my dad says 'No, I think you should wait.' Then he picked up the ps3 and placed it back on the shelf and we went home. I'm thinking wtf is going on.In the car, I asked him why he did that. He didn't respond. So i waited 5 minutes and asked again. Then he said 'Your grades are very important now'. At the time I had a C in one of my classes. So I asked 'If i get rid of that C by next week can I buy a ps3?' He said 'Ok'It's next week now and i removed the C just like I said I would. Today I told him 'I got rid of the C, can I buy a ps3 now?' Then he said 'No'. WTF!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? 10 minutes later I asked him why not, and he said 'Because it's too expensive.'Now, if he was buying it for me, I would completely understand why he doesn't want me to have one. But I'M THE ONE WHO'S PAYING FOR IT... And if it's grades that are a problem, I told him that if i got a C again he could take the ps3 away. He still said 'No.'How am i supposed to convince him to let me buy one? I know I sound like a whinney brat, but seriously..I'm paying for it..come on now...grrr....
