Damn You Blast Shards!

So I have spent too many hours looking for the last blast shard in Infamous. I even went as far as to printing out maps with each blast shard and hopping to every dot to look for that last shard. Did not find it. So I did it the old fashioned way for the 100th time by hoping from building to building clicking the button to locate a blue dot. Still no luck. Is there any top secret places to find it? like is it under a dock or something crazy like that? Or was there one in the borken off passage way? WTF! I need help, I will not play Infamous 2 until I have that shard!

There's one in historic district wayouton a destroyed bridge. I almost missed that one

I feel for you. Took me a few days to find my last shard. Keep going at it!

Next time you collect Blast Shards, be sure to get a map with all the blast shard printed so that you can cross out the ones you find. SAVES A TON OF TIME.

I did this for Assassin's Creed 2 (feathers) and boy, did it save me a ton of time.

Check the broken dock. I know I know its been said but i felt like contributing to it as well:D

The only one I can think of, is one way out from a pier, that requires you to hop from pole to pole. It might be there.

If you can't get access to a map, try to systematically make your way across each district.

If you still can't get it, get a map with all the blast chards printed out and then check each and every single one.

Major bummer but still worth a try when all hope fails.

That's exactly what I did, but the map I was using had some missing shards (had 96 or something), I still had to press the button, but either way that map helped a lot.

I had a similar problem in Assassin's Creed 2. I missed 2 feathers despite using a map. So I got a video guide from Youtube to help me out.

I think I broke myself of it when "GTA San Andreas" came out and there were pearls and packages and car lists... I was completely put off by the exercize and I finally said "never again". Trophies aren't that important to me, too, which helps a lot. I hunted shards on that game for a little while... I looked for them when it was night which helps a lot, but the game was so easy that having the juice up through the roof in order to complete the boss fights, etc. Critics talk about how easy "Enslaved" is, but I couldn't fathom how "InFAMOUS" could be so **** easy. I'm looking forward to the next one, but dear Jah I hope the ratchet up the difficulty. That game was so easy a five-year-old could whomp it.

yeah, finding that last shard took me days to find. I was so frustrated that I gave up and as I was just walking around I found it on the some broken up dock.

I know exactly which one you're talking about I had found every one except for that one and it took me several hours to get in and finally get the trophy. I bet it's the same one the op has overlooked as well. Very easy to miss.

Well, thanks guys :D I got some ideas of where to look. Now I just need to find the courage to spend another night looking for one blast shard. :) By the way, I got the one on the skyscraper and I am pretty sure I got the broken dock one :(

Check on the bridge where you fight Alden, and along the coast of each district. Good luck.

I feel the same way. I got the map and everything and crossed off the ones I found. I finally got to the historic distritc and got them, and I'm missing only 4 of them. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. So annoying

I hear yah man, Infamous would have been my first platinum, but I had all of them but ONE!!!!! I said screw it, I am not going to waste my time going through the entire world to find it! especially since some of them are tricky as hell to locate. lol good luck man!

Start a new game, it may seem like a waste of time, but it's better than mindlessly searching for that one last shard. Get a map, and go shard by shard in the first district, until you have the number of shards in the first district, proceed to the second, get all shards and make sure shard count equals shards in the first and second island, then proceed to the third island, and go block by block using the map. YOu could've easily just skipped over one obvious shard, and it'll take forever to find as there is no way to even tell what district it's in.

I spent a long time looking for the last blast shard. The thing is I could see it on the radar, but couldnt for the life of me locate it. It turned out to be the very first shard you could find in the game where Cole first gets electrocuted in the parking deck

Get creative dude, look around. I know which one you are talking about, and it was tricky, But I found a way to glide to it.
