Dark Sector looks like Gears of War!!

I just saw some videos of dark sector and i was impressed!! graphics and gameplay have really improved since I saw older videos from about 6 months ago. When I saw the character running under the rain I just thought of Gears of War. It looks a lot like it. It has veeeery nice graphics and the same covering system. btw its was created with the Unreal engine .....

I really hope this game wont dissapoint because it looks very promising. I hope i can see above 8.5 reviews,

No it wasn't.

It's using a different engine because they didn't like the UE3. It's one of the reasons it's taken so long to come out.

we cant get it here in australia cos our s*** rating system doesnt allow and adult 'rated' game.

I had not seen that one yet. My already high excitement level just went up a notch.:D

IGN and me don't seem to be getting along too well right now, but I did see the guy just snatch up a shotgun from the ground with his little boomerang.

I admit.

There are developers out there that actually DO want to try SOME things different.

It should look good....They've only been working on it for how many years? It was one of the original PS3 titles released before the ps3 even came out. It seems delays are the big thing in the gaming world in the past 2 years.

Maybe Gears of War looks like Dark Sector.

Nice link Bioshock. That was funny and I'm surprised he admitted the similar traits to the after-touches of Heavenly Sword and DS itself. The guy talking is obviously a true gamer.
