I played the RFOM demo and enjoyed it, having never enjoyed a first person shooter before so I planned to buy a used copy but can't find one (in a store) so it's the same price as other new games. The Darkness is also a first person shooter and seems to have an interesting story. If you were choosing between these too which would you choose? Gameplay and length of play are more important to me than online play.

Hurm.....

If you know you're gonna get RFOM later on, then I'd say go for the Darkness first. Both are worth owning.

if gameplay and story are more important to u than get RFOM it has ALOT of replayability and the game is really challenging even on the lower difficulty settings

Thanks :) I was hesitant to buy RFOM at full price since it's a launch title but it seems it's still worth it. Thanks for the input, I'll head to a game store today :)
