Now the day one update is causing frame rate of games to suffer according to Kotaku, IGN and Game Informer.

This is kind of freaking me out. I just bought the PS4 off Amazon yesterday and should be getting it next week. I want the PS4 to work perfectly, but there are so many things going wrong out of the gate.

It almost makes me want to keep all of my games and the console unopened just so I can wait and see how it all pans out.

Is anyone else worried? This really should not be happening. These are at least three separate issues happening at once.

I swear to God....

Right now Sony's failure rates make it the most reliable piece of tech in history.

I was worried yesterday but my PS4 has been fine since I hooked it up last night. Take it from someone who was in your shoes, you're better off just jumping in whole hog or backing out. Based on my experience with my PS4 I recommend the former.

The HDMI issue is fixable if you look it up.

WLoD doesn't exist. White means it is on, nothing else. And I doubt SONY expected any of this and just weren't prepared with PSN getting so cluster-fudged.

Just imagine if everyone took to the forums to say "OMG my PS4 is working fine, as expected" on multiple forums on multiple sites. Then you'd probably see that the vocal people having problems are FAR smaller than the silence masses playing games and enjoying their console.

Dude, you can't live your life in fear your gonna have to go ahead and take a chance! I've had mine up and running with no issues.

Its the chance your going to take with any electronic device, but if your that paranoid...maybe you should send it back.

Every system breaks and freezes and has issues at launch this should not be a surprise. But its still unfortunate.

OK, screw the fricken internet. I'm just keeping it. I can't tell what's fact or fiction anymore on news sites, lol. If something doesn't work somebody will fix it. I have to stop letting the internet dictate my life.
