There a too many motion controls which have ended up as gimmick jokes. Please put time and effort into making a game for Move that does not rely on the wow-effect and/or cuteness to sell copies. Make a game that people who calls themselves gamers would actually be excited to play because of a solid gameplay built in an inspired original setting.

How about a game called "Colosseum" where the players fights as gladiators (with weapons of own choosing) in bloody battles between teams of gladiators online.

Or call up Lucas Arts and have them reboot "Jedi Academy" with Move as controller. If done right, swinging a lightsaber and force pushing with Move would be nothing less than epic.

Point is: So many possibilities, please have the vision to exploit them Sony.

The games you've created could turn out to be a gimmick just as much as any real game Sony is developing right now.

They should make a Move game where you're given a snow shovel and you are tasked with getting rid of piles of Blu-Ray discs no one is playing...

:D

... sorry, I couldn't resist!

They really DO need to come up with at least one valid title past "Sports Champions", which, to be polite, is nothing to float the hardware on for very long... I didn't expect any great shakes from them at launch, but I did expect at least one killer app by now. It seems like the Move has been hung out there to dry after a very short campaign.

I hope I'm wrong, for the sake of everyone who purchased it.

The monkey man is right, Move is really being hung out to dry. It seems that all they're gonna do is integrate Move in a bunch of new games (and even some old ones) which have no need for Move whatsoever (Heavy Rain might be the exception).

Sony is missing their chance to hit Nintendo where it hurts, by producing a better motion control games (using they superior motion control tech). But I guess they gave up after they saw the announcement of the new Zelda.

Maybe that is reason Sony seems unwilling really invest in Move... simply because Sony believe that the Wii cannot be beaten in motion control and they will rather just try to catch the scraps that falls of Nintendo than even try to fight them?

The only PS move game I've seen that looks good Is 'Sorcery'. I hope throughout next year game developers announce some good titles because I can't really see myself buying a move to play one game.

All of the current Move titles look weak to me. However, I see great potential in this device and I hope more intelligent developers create innovative and fun software that actually showcases its potential. That will take time. Fortunately, I'm a patient person.

How about Sony just stick to what really matters... and that's QUALITY games.

I think this whole motion-controller campaign is complete crap.

The install base is just to small... I can't see big companies making retail games designed for Move... But I wouldn't be surprised to see many games get Move treatment, ala MAG, KZ3, LBP2, etc... Pachter seems to think Epic Mickey is on it's way to PS3..

I was gonna say, KZ3 and LBP2 have Move support so that's a big plus for the hardware as far as I'm concerned. Add that sorcery title and the few older games that support it and it isn't in bad shape over all.

I agree though that they need actual development of games designed almost entirely around the Move. The real issue is that the Wii is tied to the motion controls and the PS3 isn't, so all Wii games have motion to some degree and the Move is an Add On.

I can understand if you are skeptic and/or disillusioned but I have to disagree. Motion control does have a lot of potential, maybe not to replace the conventional controller but to coexists with it.

Maybe so, but right now it does not appeal to me in any way, shape or form.

Once it begins to get a broader selection of games i may just pick up the Move.

The Move is an auxiliary controller to the DS3, and should be treated/marketed as such. There's no need to throw away money on any further development of Move-only games. Sony already gave its consumers a taste of the move can do -- and whether or not those move-only games were able to adequately showcase the move capabilities no longer makes a difference. There's simply no intelligent way on spending any more resources on appetizers. And lets not kid ourselves, that other companies will start developing move-driven games, when the move itself hasn't really produced a huge fan base. The move will, most likely than not, be implemented in many future games (and - hopefully- implemented very well), but not as a primary controller but as optional one -- as it damn well should be.

I think Sony should try and market Move better. I mean I hear about kinect a lot more than I do the Move, and I've yet to see Ellen Degeneres or Oprah waggle a move wand around and insist their audience to buy it. It's already clear that the move will support the hardcore gamer with Killzone 3, Socom 4, etc., but the problem is you don't hear about it in the media from anyone else besides 'Kevin Butler'.
