yup on ign it got 6.7 for ps3 and 7.0 for the xbox so indeed, so im expectin a 7.8 or 7.9 from GS on teh ps3 version and rightfully so that it would be less, the lack of custom soundtrack support is just dumb and sony/ea deserves to sell no copies of this game on teh ps3 because of it
it is such krap that thsi game got a 8.1 and Motorstorm go a 7.9 what a slanted Fing system My faith i gamespot reviews is fade largely... I will just have to rely now on gamerankings... it is to bad becasue everything else on this site is awesome...
no, its rediculouse actually. now i wont trust GS if they give the def jam a higher score for the 360 than the ps3, the custom sound track yeah ok. but ive seen it played on both system and it (not mush but clearly so) is smoother and looks better on the ps3. This isnt just my opinion the owner of the 360 version also agreed the ps3 was slightly better looking. either way i care not what GS rates games, they have been off the wall for a while now
I got some hands on time at my friends house, and gotta say it's a good game. However, the fighting in the game seems almost incomplete. You can tell AKI isn't helping develop this game, I miss some of the better wrestling moves of the last two Def Jam games, but this game isn't so bad. Besides, it gets alot of points on pure creativity, I mean using the song so you can hammer on your enemy? That's some origina stuff right there...
Def Jam is a great game. The story mode is awesome and the custom soundtrack is just cool to use since the envoirments will react to you're very own soundtrack. That's just cool.
