No problems for me at all so far. I expect when the 360/Wii fanboys catch wind of this poll the "yes" will rise.;)razzy1
I havent had a problem either, it hasnt even froze, and my PS3 was made in December (based on the label). I am sure your right though, the "yes's" will be more prevelant because theyre fanboys.
My PS3 came to Greece with me but I still think it considers itself an American so I'd have to say no. It has not defected. Oh and it's not defective either.
Im on my second PS3..... I love it soooooooooooo much but theyre not ultimatly invincible and perfect. After having it for only a month it would no longer read discs.. So SONY replaced it free, and im now thoroughly enjoying my replacment console.
Yea, well I'm on my 5th PS3. I get so pissed off with them I'm going to stop buying PS4's and just switch ober to the xbox 360 becuase it is so much better with achievements an halo 3 and such. All PS3's got is blast processing!! HAHAHHAHA, I feel sorry for your PS3 owners, you don't konw what you are mising out on.!@

Well i've been through 2 broken ps3's. now on my third. There will always be problems with consoles no matter who makes them. i've been through 3 broken 360's also.
The wii is the only console to have no problems so far for me. I would say that i play on the 360 and ps3 a lot longer though.
 As far as finding complaints on the net you need to go to the official ps3 forum. There are problems and breakdowns listed.
I haven't had it freeze on me yet or anything else wrong with it. The only problem I have is with the SIXAXIS controller it for no reason acts like I pressed the triangle button which is not a big problem just annoying. I have a second controller though which I use instead and just use the faulty one when friends come over (they use the bad one).
only problems iv had is corrupt saved games but other then that the hardware is faultless. My 360 has disc read errors all the time, and tries to read them as a DVD dumb ass console, i still love it though :P
I have not had mine freeze once it's worked perfectly since launch.. my friends however did freeze but he had it on the same shelf as his DVD recorder so the PS3 wasn't getting enough ventilation he now has the PS3 on it's own shelf and it hasn't frozen since.
