Demons Souls (a question for those who've played)

So.... I died at the 1st boss..... big fat demon... hardly had time to get a look at him, b4 he squashed me with 1 swing. So now I'm ported to this "other world"?and this guy, apparently also dead, tells me to touch the wall behind him.... so I do, and I'm ported to an area, which I assume if I manage to get through will allow me to regain my soul and return the land of the LIVING, once more?

I'm really confused, I've not really played a game like this b4.... am I correct, is this how it works?

Also I see, what seems like ghosts of other people, popping up, near where there are enemies.... are these people that are playing the game in the same place, in realtime? Or are they people who've done it b4, and the system saves their actions during battle, to give a hint to others that an enemy is nearby?

Another thing I can't figure out is, how do you enter someone elses game? Is that only available once you regain your soul, and are among the living, I assume so.

Sorry for all the questions, but my game manual is in Korean... and my Korean ability is well, childlike.

First section is just a tutorial. You're supposed to die. You don't get your body back until you beat the first boss demon. The ghosts you see are other players playing in real time. If you see any bloodstains, you can watch how someone died...which can help you out in certain situations. You won't be able to enter someone elses game until later. Everything opens up after you beat the first boss. Just keep playing the game, you'll figure it out. Check out the wiki on the game, it has all the info you need. DaddyLongCaddy

hahaha I expect this question to pop up many more times, but , as explained above, that was a tutorial, you were supposed to die.

You're supposed to be killed in that level, and the place you're in is called nexus. Why didn't you wait for the NA version? Its coming out in a few days.NoobisMaxcimus

Because.... if I bought the NA version, I'd end up paying $30 more, and having to wait 2 weeks to have the privelageof paying almost twice as much for the game, just to have an English Manual.

Also... I thought maybe I was supposed to die... I couldnt see, for the short time I was alive, how anyone could possibly live through that.

You gunna need to be a lot smarter to get through this game if you can't work out something simple like that.
