Demon's Souls in Canada!!

Any one know whats going on, I checked 3 EB games, and a future shop last night and they were all sold out, even amazon.ca is sold out! The store clerks keep mentioning some kind of delay for canada, but I doubt there reliability, anyone know whats going on?

Well, it has become the norm lately that we don't get game shipments until Wednesdays or Thursdays the majority of the time. Also, with a game like Demon's Souls, which isn't well known outside of the hardcore gaming fansbase, stores aren't going to order many copies. And EB is notorious for only ordering enough copies to meet pre-orders so the general public gets screwed and then EB tells them they should pre-order next time.

That's why I use ebay.

Less expensive, and there's always stock.

Sure you have to wait for the game to arrive, but I'm a patient man, so I don't care much for a week or two.

My Eb didn't get any till Wednesday. They only had 2 boxes full of Demon's Souls, so I guess in Canada they're only shipping so many. However there was more regular editions than the deluxe edition. I was planning on purchasing the regular but that deluxe edition had such a nice shining cover, I couldn't resist. :P

I live in St.Catharines ontario Canada. I got my copy on wed the 7th but I did not recive my art book and sound track yet. EB had only 2 and there where 2 people waiting tell 6:00amat the doors to recive there copy's of the art book and sound track

I live in Eastern NB and got my copy on the 7th. I don't think there is a delay, this was actually a quick release compared to most games - we usually get them 1-3 days after release.

Also they seem to be in pretty limited supply..where I bought mine they only received 2 copies (I luckily found it at Blockbuster) and they actually sold it to me and now only have 1 copy for rental.

im gonna go pick up my copy that i pre ordered from vgp today 8)

ahhh, just phoned another eb games, they got 2 left, they better be there when i drive down!

i don't know about toronto ftw?i checked a rogers,blockbuster (They had one for rent, which i didn't want to rent),futureshop,bestbuy and the superstore and they all were sold out or did not get any in yet.. fml i want this game.

If you live in Quebec you are screw'd because the game may no more enter do to frenchy laws...
