Demon's Souls Questions

I know the game isn't out yet but I am rather new to RPG's and I have enjoyed the few I have played thus far. Who is getting this game? Are you expecting it to be good? I have really only played Valkyria Chronicles and Fallout 3 (don't know if those are true RPG's or not) and I enjoyed them so I am considering this game. Do you think it is too hard for me to jump in on when it comes out?

im 7-8 hours into my first playthrough and im really starting to get into it i can see me spending many many hours playing this game.

Yeah, get the Deluxe edition if you can. I really think that strategy guide will help me wonders, so it's totally worth the extra 10 bucks.

This game looks epic. I preordered it and fully paid for it. Will be the best RPG on the PS3 so far.

I think your suppossed to get killed in the tutorial level, then you go to the "hub" town temple thing where you can access the game levels from there and buy items etc.

I have a question, is their a good selection of armour for your character? Like different cool helms and armour? I was hoping for a hoplite helm with the feather mo-hawk sticking out the top. Is it all Medieval European? Are there different types of armour?

It's a old school dungeon crawler with RPG elements.

Yeah, it's awesome, what would make it more awesome was if it had a good selection of armour??

Gladiator Helmets? Knights Helms? Assassin Hoods? Wizard Robes? Spartan Helmets? Ranger light armour?

Do you mean the Trophies or the general language in-game? To the first: My trophies too are displayed in japaneses...dunno how to change that To the second: The problem is, that you've imported the japanese version, which has japanese subtitles (and japanese character sound?). If you had orderd the chinese or korean version, you would have gotten full english sound and subtitles.n3oGeist

Also, it isn't so hard as it is punishing. If you **** up, it's gonna **** you back 10fold.

IF you die, which you will, you lose all your souls, you go back to the end of the level, AND all enemies respawn.

From the gameplay vids I saw on youtube.com, Demons Souls easily looks like the best action RPG since Oblivion. I am going to get the Asian version because I know it has English voices and subtitles, and so does the Korean version from what I have heard, but not the Japanese version.

It's a shame that such an awesome game like this gets so little hype these days, whereas garbage like Halo 3 gets so much hype.
