**Demon's souls without internet?**

Will Demon's souls be a good game if you don't have internet? It sounds like it would only be a good game if you had internet connection. If it will still be a good game. Can you fill me into why?

I'm actually contemplating disconnecting the game from the internet every time I play, because I know a giant "SOMEONE HAS INVADED YOUR WORLD" message is going to result in me leaving a giant turd in my pants every time.hazelnutman

All good points but missing what I am looking at.

I have read that when you die, you can go into other peoples games to fight them as a spirt to get your soul back. If that is true then how does that work offline.

The online facter has alot to do with this game. It has a lot of small things that come with the online that will make it a great game.

Being invaded may not be what you want but it will keep you on your toes and into the game (besides you and him both have to be at a point in the game so high lvls don't own you all the time)

Seeing other people playing as you play is a small but big thing.

See how people die, VERY epic that would make a big impact on your gameplay.

Co-op, Speaks for it self. (BTW can you have 2 player at home?)

Reading message and hits people live you is a very very welcome idea.

All togeather, the add alot of this game. I believe that a big part of this game is around that online part. So will it be fun offline? Or will you start to feel all alone in a big world like oblivion. WHICH IS A BAD THING, the only thing I hated about oblivion was the feeling that your in this big world alone. Get boring fast.

So what do you guys think?

It improves the mood in MP since you can see how other people died and stuff (kinda like flashbacks) just to remind you that this place doesent want you!

In story mode, You can also just go back to where you died to get your Souls back.

Also, no there is no split screen 2 player.

Playing this game online will give you a bunch of advantages id say, and make it slightly better. But id say it can still be enjoyed almost just as much off line.
